 The rates in CT have gone sky high. We decide to go with Direct Energy and we have noticed a savings in our first months billingso far so good. We have been using more sense by drying clothes on the line outside, using cold water whenever possible, and turning off lights and unplugging appliances to save energy.

Billing Issues

 Eversource shut off our electricity after a billing error on their end and did not make any effort to reach out to us beforehand. As a result our electricity will not be turned back on until tomorrow.

We have autopay setup and our most up-to-date contact info on file. Given our current climate, a lot of individuals are working from home. This situation is unacceptable, especially because this is not the first time it has happened. Will be searching for a new company, with a more organized billing system.

Awful.

 I have had so many problems with eversource. A few of these problems resulted with me losing my heat in the winter and losing electricity (AC) in the summer. I once had a past due bill because of them, my email and account said the 20th but then my electricity was shut off July 11th. So I paid the bill immediately but they cant turn it on until tomorrow. Mind you Im on the 3rd floor so it gets very hot. Terrible company.

 It took 5 calls because they repeatedly were telling me I wasn't signed up after emailing me confirmation numbers. Kept trying to change the price everytime I had to call again. End of story I am NOT a customer of constellation and would NEVER recommend anyone waste time with the run around I was put through!!!
