Been with StarTex for a few years now (4 I think) and we've always been
gotten within $.05 / KWh of anyone elses 12 month fixed rates - they've
never jacked us around with big rate hikes when pur contract expires and
renewing fixed rate contracts is painless.
Their web site pretty much can handle anything and I've never had any
billing problems. Even when I had to close my debit card and forgot to
tell them; they got a denied charge but no fees were imposed on me and I
was able to update the card info on their web site.

“ We had StarTex for 3 years. We never had a single problem. The bill was easy to read, and the contract termination date was clearly stated on each bill. They even sent a reminder letter just before the contract expired (for people like me who lose track of time). We always pay our bill on time, so we didn't really have a reason to contact customer service. The only reason we switched was because at time of renewal they were way higher than several other companies --which was odd because they had always had competitive rates. Sorry StarTex, but we need to save every penny. ”
